Joye Group has a strong presence in the Australian timber flooring and tiling markets with year upon year of experience. Specialising in supply & installation of timber flooring and tiling services, we are a well-established, fast growing and highly respected company based in Sydney.

Currently, we are looking for competent personnel to fulfil the following positions:


Business Development Manager - BDM


Backed by a showroom and admin team and working closely with the National Sales Manager, you will be championed with introducing and developing business with their existing networks of clients across the state. Key to this role is enthusiasm, initiative and above all else – sales ability. Essentially your mandate is to maximise the market share and grow the annual revenue base.


  • Secure an existing pipeline of work
  • Leveraging existing relationships with commercial builders and architects, whilst Identify new opportunities
  • Technical product support along with product presentations will be an ongoing part of this role
  • Quoting clients with a range of products and other requirements, offering advice and solutions


  • An external sales background in the building products industry (min 3 years)
  • Knowledge of the multi residential or commercial builder market
  • Network of contacts in the A&D space
  • Strong organisational, planning and negotiating skills
  • A polished presenter – articulate and well presented
  • An energetic and tenacious character with a desire to further their career
  • Although not a prerequisite, applicants that have some an interior product such as flooring or tiles would be welcomed

*The successful candidate will be offered a competitive package coupled with a car allowance.

Project Estimator


This opportunity would see you join the growing Sydney office. This business has a great team culture and would see you tendering on Design & Construction Projects. This opportunity could see you progress and develop your career.


  • Preparation of Tender Packages for distribution to sub-contractors
  • Prepare take off’s and tender estimates
  • Attend site inspections
  • Develop strategies for winning tenders
  • Maintain sub-contractor database


  • You will have completed either a Bachelor of Construction Management, completed a Trade Qualification or a Bachelor in Quantity Surveying.
  • Ideally you will have been 5-7 years or more previous experience working for a fit out contractor.
  • You will demonstrate good negotiation and problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience in Standard method of measurement and would be highly regarded if you have previous experience in take offs
